She turned her head towards the sound, smiling as she saw her older brothers practising their swordsmanship. The ringing of metal against metal carried over the gentle breeze causing her to smile. On this day, her thoughts held nothing in particular, just a sleepy contentment that ran through her entire body. For a moment Tallen paused to stare up at the soft white clouds as she brushed a stray wisp of brown hair out of her youthful face. The shade of a century-old evergreen tree momentarily shaded her dark hazel coloured eyes. The young girl, aged but sixteen summers, walked dreamily down the grassy hill.
